What is Cursillo?

Cursillo is a way to enrich your Christian live. Cursillo (pronounced kur-see-oh) means a short course in Christianity and is among the many renewal ministries within the Anglican Church. It starts with a three day weekend experience which is a personal, lively and informative event that invites you to:
• deepen your Christian faith
• experience the love of God in a caring and prayerful setting
• examine what it means to be a Christian in our everyday world today.

The purpose of Cursillo is also to provide help and support to people in their walk with Christ for the rest of their lives, using the Cursillo method. Cursillo is a movement of the Anglican Church, under the authority of the diocesan bishops. It has leadership roles for both a laity and and clergy and is structured so as to be part of the Diocesan mission and pastoral plan.
